Privacy Notice

Twisted Headlines collects account email, invite and session metadata, profile fields, submitted stories and headlines, votes, private reports, support requests, moderation records, audit events, security events, and operational diagnostics needed to run the invite-only beta.

Data is used for authentication, safety moderation, private reports, support, account recovery, abuse prevention, debugging, backups, audit review, legal requests, and service operation. The initial beta does not sell or share personal information, run ads, send marketing email, process payments, use Session Replay, or use support/private report text for model training.

Service providers are limited to hosting, database, email delivery, monitoring, DNS, security, backup, and operations categories selected for the beta. Production provider credentials and factual operator contacts must be configured before real-user launch.

Retention is limited by operational need, moderation history, audit integrity, account recovery, legal hold, and backup lifecycle. Encrypted independent backups may retain deleted data for up to approximately 90 days before normal rolloff. Access, correction, export, deletion, privacy, security, and abuse requests start through the support and security contact route.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are treated as privacy preferences where technically applicable. Because the initial beta has no sale, sharing, advertising, or behavioral advertising, those signals do not change advertising behavior.
